We cordially invite you to the Vašulka Kitchen Brno for the finissage of the exhibition Resensing – Beyond Symbiosis and artist talk by Patrícia Chamrazová, that will take place on Sunday 24 November, 2024 at 5 PM in the House of the Lords of Kunštát. 

During the evening there will be a last opportunity to visit the exhibition, which will be guided by curator Viktória Pardovičová and artist Patrícia Chamrazová. Following this, there will be an artist talk by Patrícia Chamrazová, in which she will introduce her artistic work in a broader context.

The exhibition Resensing is concerned with possibilities for an inclusive perception of the environment and potential forms of interspecies coexistence. In her ambient immersive installation, Patrícia Chamrazová continues her research into the fields of microbiology, technology, and posthuman philosophy. She suggests approaches to the experiencing of layered realities that interact and compete, seeking expanded ways of understanding aspects of various worlds that do not have explicitly defined spatiotemporal boundaries of their own.         

Patrícia Chamrazová is a Slovak visual artist currently based in Vienna. She graduated from the Intermedia Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. In her practice she deals with issues of technology and interspecies forms of collaboration, which she often confronts with her own corporeality or aspects of the boundaries of virtual and physical space. She works with different media, using the fluidity of video formats, 3D scanning or virtual, augmented reality and artificial intelligence. As the results of their extensions, she then creates interactive installations, often expanded by the forms of textual statements and object elements.
